Maka – Salvia Divinorum (Dried Leaves) – 10 Grams:
Usage:
- Chewing: Chewing Salvia is the traditional method and is quite simple. You place the leaves in your mouth and chew them well for about 10 minutes. Then, you can either swallow them or spit them out. Your mucous membranes will absorb the active compounds, and you will start feeling the effects after 10-20 minutes. The effects can last for about 2 hours.
- Tea: You can make a delicious cup of tea from the leaves. Boil water and let it cool for a moment. Then, soak the leaves in the water for 5-10 minutes. Alternatively, you can grind the leaves finely and dissolve them in hot water. Drink the mixture and expect the effects to kick in after 20-30 minutes, lasting for about 2 hours.
- Smoking: Smoking Salvia is a common method for extracts. It is quite straightforward, and the advantage is that it works immediately. Smoking allows the active compounds to enter your bloodstream directly through your lungs. It is often smoked in combination with other smokable herbs. The effects are immediate and last for about 60-90 minutes, while for an extract, they last around 10 minutes.
- Vaping: Vaping Salvia is relatively new, and not much is known about it yet. The ideal vaporization temperature is around 230-250°C. However, it is known to produce effects similar to smoking the leaves.
